Gender Studies Legal Research Workshop

The Gender Studies Legal Research Workshop is a newly established forum designed to bring together researchers to explore and critically engage with legal issues through the lens of gender studies. This workshop aims to create a collaborative space where participants can discuss and develop their research on topics such as gender equality, feminist legal theory, and the legal dimensions of LGBTTQIA+ rights. By fostering interdepartmental dialogue and encouraging diverse perspectives, the workshop seeks to advance scholarly understanding of how law interacts with issues of gender, sexuality, and identity. Participants will have the opportunity to present their work, receive constructive feedback, and contribute to a growing body of interdisciplinary research that challenges traditional legal frameworks and promotes social justice.

The Gender Studies Legal Research Workshop is open to researchers from all departments of the Institute. The workshop will take place once a month, beginning on September 11th at 10:00 AM, in Room B316 (third floor of the Library, Hansallee building). For more information, please contact Vanessa Massuchetto or Julie Rocheton.
