Curriculum Vitae

Julia Hütten received her doctorate in law from Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and is currently conducting postdoctoral research on the legal history of German colonies in the Pacific. She was a fellow at the International Max Planck Research School for Comparative Legal History and a doctoral candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Theory (formerly the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History). In addition to her degrees in law, she also completed a BA in anthropology and English studies.
